The big debate: how to maximise ancillary revenue

  • What is the next ancillary revenue stream? Where will the next ancillary revenue idea come from?
  • Punitive ancillaries: have airlines reached the limit?
  • A la carte, bundling and ‘mini bundling’: does it make commercial sense to go a la carte or bundle? If so, how can it be done to maximise revenue?
  • How can airlines optimally engage with third parties to sell ancillary products and services?
  • New methods and products in on board merchandising
  • Integrating ancillaries into the booking process – with little cost and without alienating the consumer

World Paper Plane Competition: Now firmly entrenched as a Terrapinn tradition, all delegates are urged to enter into the annual paper plane competition. Contestants craft and engineer a plane from a single sheet of paper and then launch them from a designated spot in the Exhibition hall. The winner will be announced at the Budgies Award ceremony that evening and presented with a surprise gift.

Cocktails: Relax and have a drink with your new friends. Reflect on your learning and plan tomorrow’s activities.
