 Mr Garry Kingshott,
Chief Executive Adviser Cebu Pacific Cebu Pacific pioneered the LCC model in the Philippines and has plotted a course of phenomenal growth in recent years, taking domestic market leadership in 2007.
With a current fleet of 25 aircraft (19 A319/A320 and 6 ATR 72-500) Cebu Pacific now serves 32 domestic destinations and 15 International destinations and is set to further expand its network in 2009 with the delivery of six more aircraft.
Cebu Pacific is the only LCC to serve all three major North Asian markets of China, Japan and Korea. It has been recognized many times for its innovative approach and in 2008 was awarded the Agora Marketing Company of the Year award.
Garry is a 56 year old Australian National with more than 30 years experience in Travel, Aviation and other Service Industries and is now leading the team at Cebu Pacific through their next phase of growth.
Educated in Adelaide, South Australia and at Wharton Business School, Garry has held many executive and non executive roles in his lengthy career. Prior to joining Cebu Pacific he was CEO of Jetlite (India) Ltd and Chief Commercial Officer of Jet Airways (India) Ltd.
For some years he was the CEO of The Melbourne Convention Bureau and prior to that had eleven years at Ansett Australia Airlines, finishing his time with them in late 2000 as CEO of Ansett International .

An exclusive press interview featuring the CEOs of leading low cost airlines who are right now, the shining stars of the aviation industry. This will be your chance to witness a STOP PRESS session where journalists, reporters and aviation writers from Asia’s major TV news channels, newspapers and trade publications rush to get candid first hand news from the leaders on how LCCs became the high earners and profit-makers of the aviation industry despite the economic recession.
The recent economic turbulence forced a number of airlines to consolidate and merge, while others stopped operations, and even more sustained huge losses and underwent major restructuring to survive. How did LCCs leverage on available opportunities to increase their market share and profitability? What did LCCs do differently from other airlines and from each other?
Do not miss the inaugural LCA STOP PRESS session to get the aviation news of the year!
