 Mr Koustav M. Dhar,
Chief Executive Officer Jagson Airlines Koustav M.Dhar is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Indias only Full Service Low Fare Regional Schedule carrier- MDLR Airlines . Being the founder member of the Airline he had held previous Management has considerable experience in providing high quality and bespoke services to Asian commercial aviation business having launched new companies and services in the Commercial aviation, Hospitality space and luxury markets.
Till 2006, Koustav, was based in Singapore managing Air Sahara as Vice President/ General Manager-South East Asia and had been with the Airlines since 2001- managing a varied Aviation portfolio. This included Heading the Indian Carriers Western and Eastern Indian Operations. Sales & Marketing and then subsequently Heading Asia Pacific operations for the 24 Aircraft-Air Sahara operation, before it was merged with Jet Airways in 2006. He also did a quick stint as Senior Vice President with Jagson Airlines in India.
Prior to that since 1992 Koustav have held several International Top and Middle Management positions with Luxury and Hospitality Brands like ITC Welcomgroup-Fortune Park Hotels, RCI Worldwide, HHI-Kolkata ( as F & B Manager ), The Park Hotels and Kempinski Hotels worldwide. He had won the youngest F & B Manager award in 1997 and has been a Trained chef. A resident of Singapore , he holds Doctorate degree ( PhD ) in Aviation Management, MBA in Marketing & Human Resources, Diploma from IATA, Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management and has been Aviation consultant to Top global consulting firms, and also writes columns for Aviation journalsAppearing: Conference Day One- 28 January 2010 3.50pm Aviation Finance Panel: What are the opportunities and risks in capital management, hedging and financing?
