Appearing: Conference Day Two-29 January 2010 4.15pm The Corporate Travellers Panel Asian businesses could reduce their travel spend by as much as 20 percent to cut costs amid the global financial crisis says travel industry analysts and there has been a growing trend of small and medium sized enterprises moving away from full-service to low cost airlines as evidenced by the recent spate of growth in corporate travellers numbers for some LCCs. Could this be a sustainable new revenue segment or is this just a temporary phenomenon as a result of the economic downturn? The CEOs of leading LCCs will share their perspectives for the corporate travellers segment and reveal their market strategies in targeting this new breed of customers.
- Is the corporate traveller market a sustainable revenue segment that LCCs should grow and tap on for greater market share?
- How can LCCs continue to attract corporate travellers once the economy picks up and when budgets for business travels return to normal?
- What are LCCs short and long-term perspectives into gaining a foothold in the corporate travellers market?
